My first blog post

Today I decided to start a blog! I enjoy reading other blogs so figured I'd enjoy having my own as well. First of all I want to say that I have a wonderful husband who has put up with me for a long time now and I have the best little boy ever!! Some times it's scary raising a child, before you know it they are repeating what you say and you see this attitude coming out of them! Bro. Devon Mills preached an amazing message this morning about parents raising their children. I want to pray and praise my child towards the things of God. I know I've made many mistakes in life, but it just makes me want to try that much harder because it's not just about me anymore. I'm also very thankful for such an awesome man of God in my life who is not only wise, but prays and hears from God! Bro. Holmes is the most caring man I know, his wife is a wonderful, sweet lady who has set an amazing example for all the other ladies to be proud to follow. I'm so blessed to be here in NLR and to have the friends that I have. You know you have the best when they are there through the roughest of times and are willing to still be there when they know the trials you've been through!
